Remote Access - Network Connections for All

Why remote access?

Remote access is the ability to gain access to a computer or a network from a remote distance. Remote access capabilities are extremely valuable to corporations who have branch offices, telecommuters or traveling employees who need to access the company network.

Remote access to a company network can be achieved through an Internet connection (cable, DSL or dial-up). It is also possible using a dedicated line between a computer or a remote local area network and the central corporate local area network. A dedicated line is more expensive and less flexible, but it also offers faster data rates. Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) is a common method of remote access from branch offices since it combines dial-up with faster data rates.

Secure remote access to your network

Chesley Consulting can provide secure remote access to your network and corporate resources through a Windows 2003 Server, Cisco PIX firewall, Cisco ASA appliance, or Cisco VPN Concentrators. Our consultants are knowledgeable in all three and have the skills and resources necessary to complete the setup. If you're not sure what type of remote access options are right for you, we can help you design the remote access capabilities that are best for your business.
